Saurav Srivastava

I am Saurav Srivastava from Lucknow, a designer by profession, hobby & passion. I love to design the streamline the user experience for client applications. I like to modify everything to enhance their efficiency.

I have completed my Graduation from Lucknow University & my ADIM from Arena Multimedia, Lucknow. My work includes working with Adobe & Microsoft Technologies.

I have been working as a freelance 2D & 3D Designer. I have worked with various architectural firms as a freelance architecture designer in 3D Studio Max creating visuals for various architectural works.

I have worked with Nukeation Studio under the supervision of CEO Dax Pandhi & Parvez Ansari as a User Interface & Experience designer working in WPF & Microsoft Blend.

I have worked with Virtual Studio Pvt. Ltd as a UI & UX designer with Adobe Technologies under the supervision of Venkatesh Sharma.

I have worked with InfraniX I.T. Solution, Lucknow under the supervision of Tauseef Ahmad, & along with my fellow programmer Mazhar Khan as  Graphics & UI Designer.

Currently I am working with Slideshare.net, New Delhi from May 2009 under the supervision of Amit Ranjan & Kapil Mohan

I have won Microsoft MVP award three times.

My area of interest is to make compelling User interface for Desktop applications & web 2.0 sites. Since I am a user myself, I have a small idea what a user would want from an application UI & how can we not only make it look good but also make it work good. I want to pursue a career in UI & UX designing & want to blend the best of 3D world & 2D world by creating simple yet effective work experience. It should not just be looks, it should be efficiency too.

I don’t believe in book smartness as I believe that there can be no better way to learn then to work. Anyone can show 10 certificates but only that person prevails who actually knows what he is doing while designing. I believe that a good work is better than various certificates & that’s why I like to learn & work on my own under the supervision of my seniors.

I hardly code unless it is important for me to code, I am a designer only but sometime I implement my own ideas using C# & XHTML/CSS.
