Finally I can have shared internet at the same time as roommates. This is what I needed, things are finally falling in place. Rent agreement done, Internet done & I got 2 job offers today, for interview tomorrow.

Due to Office I wasn’t getting any time to settle myself in Delhi & for simple things I had to skip office. I did a mistake that I joined Virtual Studio without first settling myself in Delhi & trusting some friends a lot. It’s been 3 months & still I don’t have a proper internet connection, bike or address proof of mine. This is something I should have done before joining.

Now, before I join somewhere else I will set myself in Delhi. My Bike is on it’s way to Delhi, I am getting the rent agreement made today or Tomorrow for address Proof & we are installing Airtel 512kbps WiFi based Internet at home for which I have to buy WiFi PCI adapters today from Nehru Place. I am buying Idea Post Paid connection for 1 month so that I can get the bill & in that I can get the address written which I will later in provide as an address proof where it is needed. I am doing some shopping for home like some stuff I need a must today.

The company I joined 3 months back in Delhi, Virtual Studio Pvt. Ltd in Delhi said to me that I will be working on Microsoft Technologies such as Silverlight & WPF. Now this is what I was learning & working on since last 1 year, along with 3ds Max which is more like a hobby to me. I want to work with .net 3.0/3.5 & WPF as a UI Desinger for Windows Client applications however here I wasn’t working on these. I was instead working on Flash & making website designs which I have never done before. I was never interested in flash & flex as they are related to Web, now they are good but not something to entice me enough to switch.

Yesterday, while scolding my boss told me that they do not work with these MS technologies at all & when I was learning WPF on MSDN then he said not to as it won’t help the company & I should leave this & learn Flash etc. Now, I can’t forget what I have learned in the past 1.5 years just like that. I decided to Quit & Left the company. It’s better to leave a place where you don’t fit then to forget what you have learned in the past all along & start over.

Right now, I am looking to join some other designing company dealing with .net, WPF & UI & UX design. I already got an Interview Call from Binary Semantics, let’s see what happens.

If you guys remember, long back I designed a mock Concept PC hardware in 3d Studio Max 9 & Photoshop CS3 named the GSX Concept PC. This is what I made at that time

…..Today I was browsing Engadget & saw this.

Exactly my design, just thin. Even the ports are now on the side & they are using wireless keyboard & Mouse.

After this I searched for GSX Concept PC on google & was shocked to see that the articles is already published on many sites such as GizmoWatch & a Polish Site (Is that polish language???) Nice to see PC Industry booming like this in hardware design. Didn’t know that one of my design will become reality.

After 2 months my bike will finally be here within 2 weeks now. This Lucknow trip was ruined by rains all over. I was able to meet Priya for only 2 hrs, although gave her a big surprise by going to her home when no one was there at 9 PM :D…her P.G. tenant girls were sure shocked to see her “so called BF”. One good thing about this trip though that the crush we had on each other is now over, we are back to being strict friends only.

So, on this round 2, I have decided that I will move to some other company. I got offers from 2 companies when I was in Lucknow but I wasn’t able to talk as I was away from Delhi but now I can.

My train was pretty late & I reached home at 6 PM just now. Going to sleep as I am out of energy.
