Not exactly Rocking On!!
I guess this is the first time someone is happy on resigning from job. The company I joined 3 months back in Delhi, Virtual Studio Pvt. Ltd in Delhi said to me that I will be working on Microsoft Technologies such as Silverlight & WPF. Now this is what I was learning & working on since last 1 year, along with 3ds Max which is more like a hobby to me. I want to work with .net 3.0/3.5 & WPF as a UI Desinger for Windows Client applications however here I wasn’t working on these. I was instead working on Flash & making website designs which I have never done before. I was never interested in flash & flex as they are related to Web, now they are good but not something to entice me enough to switch.
Yesterday, while scolding my boss told me that they do not work with these MS technologies at all & when I was learning WPF on MSDN then he said not to as it won’t help the company & I should leave this & learn Flash etc. Now, I can’t forget what I have learned in the past 1.5 years just like that. I decided to Quit & Left the company. It’s better to leave a place where you don’t fit then to forget what you have learned in the past all along & start over.
Right now, I am looking to join some other designing company dealing with .net, WPF & UI & UX design. I already got an Interview Call from Binary Semantics, let’s see what happens.
